Chan May Port is a general Seaport in Vietnam, one of 46 seaports selected by the Asian Cruise Association for a stopover of cruise ships in Southeast Asia. It is 60km from Hue city centre and 55km to Da Nang city, very convenient for shore excursions with highlights such as Lang Co Beach, Hai Van Pass, Bach Ma National Park, the ancient capital of Hue or Danang City and Hoi An Ancient Town,….

Your guide will meet you at the Chan May Port, where your adventure begins with a scenic drive over the legendary Hai Van Pass, often dubbed as “the Pass of Sea Clouds.” As one of the most breathtaking coastal routes in the world, this winding road offers spectacular views of the East Sea on one side and lush green mountains on the other. Be sure to have your camera ready to capture these unforgettable landscapes.

Arriving at Marble Mountain, you’ll discover a complex of five marble and limestone hills, each representing one of the five elements: Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth. Climb the stone steps to explore hidden caves, ancient pagodas, and spiritual shrines nestled among the mountains. Don’t miss Huyen Khong Cave, where sunlight streams through natural openings, creating a magical atmosphere.

Afterward, enjoy a delightful Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant, savoring the fresh flavors of the region’s cuisine.

Next, journey to Hoi An Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that exudes timeless charm. Located on the banks of the poetic Thu Bon River, Hoi An ancient town is an Eastern oriental classic captivation. Wander through its narrow lantern-lit streets, where centuries-old architecture tells the story of a vibrant trading port. Admire landmarks such as the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge, a symbol of Hoi An, and the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall with its intricate carvings and colorful temple grounds. Take time to browse the quaint shops for traditional handicrafts, from silk lanterns to hand-stitched garments.

After a day filled with cultural exploration and natural beauty, relax on the return journey to Chan May Port as your schedule, carrying with you wonderful memories of Central Vietnam’s treasures.
